I Filed For Chapter 7 Bankruptcy In 1997. All Creditors Were Listed But One Creditor Obtained A Judgement Prior To Me Filing. The Debt Was Part Of The Bankruptcy. I Thought Everything Was Clear. I Purchased A Home In 2004 And Now I Want To Refinance. After A Title Search Was Done The Debt Is Still Showing As Valid At The Circuit Court. Will I Still Have To Pay That Debt??? I Live In Maryland.

If this debt was listed in your bankruptcy, than you no longer legally owe it, obtain a copy of your bankruptcy discharge paper, and list of creditors, and take them to the court house or mail them in as needed. Maybe call the clerk of the court house and ask what would be the proper procedure first.
