So I filed a bit ago, judge denied my car reaffirmation?

Okay so my attorney told me twice that I did not need to attend my hearing to re-affirm my car last month on the 31st. Today I get a letter in the mail saying my reaff was denied.

    Uh, wtf?

Its afterhours so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get in touch with said attorney.

What does this mean? Did I actually have to go? The hell?

Judges do not like reaffirmation agreements. Your district may be one (like mine) that simply will deny approval of such agreements and just let a "ride through". Check with your attny but my guess is that so long as you make the payments and keep the vehicle insured you will be fine. However, payments will not be reported on your credit report.

    Des.
