Correction dismissed 13 and filed new 7. Had reaffirm agreement in 13 which we have paid faithfully. Had 341 meeting for 7 which no creditors appeared. Told trustee about 13 reaffirm at 7 341 meeting. Getting close to the end of the 341 60 day deadline for creditors to object with no affirmation agreement received by credit union. Has time expired to file reaffirm. Will new reaffirm go back to pre 13 balance & payments? Less than a week of that deadline!

Sounds like you are confused and need to discuss with your attorney. There would not have been any reaffirmation entered in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy case.Any information posted by me is for general informational purposes only. While I am an attorney, I am not YOUR attorney and any information I provide is not legal advice.

You need to redeem, reaffirm or surrender. If you want to reaffirm you may need to take positive steps in your District to achieve a reaffirmation. That may include contacting the lender. You should contact your attorney. If you filed without an attorney and a reaffirmation is the right thing, then you should reaffirm. If there is a Pro Bono clinic in your District, please consult these attorneys first. Reaffirmation at a credit union can be precarious due to something known as "cross collateralization".
If none of this makes sense, then consult your attorney or see if there is a free Pro Bono clinic in your District. Many of these things are up to you to pursue (Especially if you want to "redeem" rather than "reaffirm".)Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
