I am about to begin the process of a chapter 7 filing. If during this process I was to get married would that affect the person I am marrying or cause issues with the BK? Thanks for any insight!

Not unless the two of you already share joint debts. If you have no joint debts, there would be absolutely no issue, concerns, or problems.
If you are filing Chapter 7, why not just wait until you get at least through the 341 Meeting before marrying? It's just for sanity.
