Florida Closure question

I am discharged, awaiting closing. Will I get something from the court or my lawyer saying the case was officially closed? I looked around but couldn't find this on any threads.

have you received your discharge in the mail from the court? you will also get your Final Decree in the mail as well from the court (this is when your case is officially closed). I received my discharge and Final Decree on same day as my Ch 7 case was discharged and closed same day. Both came in the mail from the court.

Have you checked PACER website for any updates with you case? PACER.gov is the site.

i never touched pacer, but on day 63 we rec'd from the middle district in florida in the mail a copy of both the discharge order and the close order. some people have to wait weeks for the close order whiles others like us rec'd it immediately. it's not uncommon at this point. however, if you don't hear anything in approx 4 weeks or so, i would call your atty and see if there is a problem. i actually have heard some people wait as long as 2 months between the issuing of the orders.
