New CC Pre Discharge

Wifey and I filed joint Ch7 no asset and had 341 on 7/2

She got a preapproved Cap1 app in mail and applied last night.

Was approved for $1k creditline and Card is in the mail.

I didn't know about it.

Any consequences since we are pre discharge?

We do not plan on using it pre discharge.

I am unaware of anything that prevents a Chap 7 debtor from incuring debt before discharge. Even if there was, opening a credit card account and not using it isn't the same as incurring debt. It shouldn't be a problem.
