    Almost 2 Years out

    Looking for some insights...

We were discharged Nov 2011 and have done okay. Credit score of 716 (averaged from all three reporting agencies), 3 credit cards with a limit $2k (no balance) and a very strong income.

Wondering how difficult it will be for me to get a mortgage once the 2 year mark is reached. I've read a lot on the web and get soooo many different views.

I will have 30% down and income is very very strong with NO debt...

Thoughts (I'm kinda in a bind that my company wants me to relocate and buy a new home).

Hi, congrats on your doing so well and coming so far in less than 2 yrs. I have to ask, why is your company wanting you to buy a new home? Ok, so relocate if that is what you want to do BUT they cannot make/require you to buy a home. Just be careful with company requests (if that is what they actually told you and requested of you) and remember that you need to do what is in YOUR best interest as there is no such thing as company loyalty to the employee any longer. Do not get yourself in a financial bind for any one else, as you know its just not worth it in the long run. If you are not ready or do not want to buy a house then do not do it. Good Luck!
