I asked my attorney about paying off the buy back early, if there was anything I needed to know about doing that. I was thinking, with my luck there would be some sort of penalty or what-knot so I decided to ask, he said there is nothing I needed to know, but the Trustee would likely want to know the source of the money. Does anyone know WHY this would matter? My cousin offered to pay it for me so I could take my time paying it back to him and mostly to help wrap this part of my life up. Is the trustee trying to make sure I didn't win the lotto or something, which I didn't of course, the amount isn't that much, only a little over 1,200? Thanks guys!

My budget is tight right now and I can make other arrangements with fam, like to pay it back with our tax refund. It would be nice to get it out of the way, it's a big pain getting a certified check and sending it certified etc working that in around my new job has been challenging. It's do-able, but it would be nice to cross that one off my list, but I get what Frogger is saying.
