I filled chapter 7 in Virginia 2.5 years ago. I kept my mortgage current by retain and pay. I now want to sell my house will this cause an issue at closing?

Shouldn't be a problem. Unless there is more info you need to tell us, like some other outstanding lien or whatever.

Should be OK, keeping in mind what keepsmiling says above. If you want, you can do a title search for your property online (many jurisdictions have this available), or hire a title company to do so for you - it costs a little, but you will know for sure.
The title search will be done as part of the home sale anyway, but you may lose a pending sale if there are liens that need to be resolved.Comment
