How recent does credit report have to be for BK

Attorney wants me to submit credit reports, all three of them.
Gheee....I thought that it would be his job to pull them...'shouda' asked if that's included in the $ 1900 that he charges not counting filing fees. (forgot to ask if he'll show up for that amount....))
I have 2 of the anual free ones that I printed beginning of February of this year. The 3rd one I just pulled today.

Does anybody know exactly how recent the reports have to be ?

I'd think that would be recent enough

I had one pulled maybe two months before I filed and my attorney ended up pulling one herself when I filed. I started seeing attorneys in May and filed in July. So yes, I think your attorney should have been able to do that himself.

No one asked me for credit reports either. I read in the paperwork from my attorney ... it is "suggested" that you get a recent credit report to insure that you have listed all of your creditors, it will help with the addresses you have to provide and the amounts owed when filling out the "workbook" provided by my attorney I had to complete. I plan to pull all three once I get thru my 341 and the 60 day waiting period.

Credit reports are usually used simply to get a handle on what creditors are out there so none are missed.

I think most attorneys pull them themselves. Mine did.
