The UST may have just filed his objection to keep their options open once they receive the "discrepancy in one entry on the Means Test" that you mentioned they wanted in 5 days from your attorney's office. It could be as simple as that.

Hang in there and keep us posted.
    ~~ Filed Over Median Income Chapter 7: 12/17/2010 ~~ 341 Held: 1/12/2011 ~~ Discharged: 03/16/2011 ~~
Not an attorney - just an opinionated woman.

Be careful how you proceed. High income and a comfortable lifestyle is not enough to sustain a bad faith objection, however a pattern of obstruction and concealing income and assets can put you over the edge. I read a case that said basically that, it was a non consumer chapter 7 filed by a doctor. Creditor tried to get it dismissed as bad faith, judge said no. (actually it was circuit appeals judge said no.)
filed chapter 13..confirmed...converted to chapter 7...DISCHARGED!

Perhaps I am missing your point but what exactly are we obstructing or concealing? We answered the questions as they were asked honestly within the timeframe and framework that they were asked. Not once did we not answer truthfully to a question as it was phrased. Had we been asked "have you started a new job recently, or do you expect an increase in income, etc" then we would have answered with that specific information. The Means Test and Schedules are for the look back periods established. We have nothing to hide nor are we going to disclose anything that is not requested of us either.
