Six months since filing and still waiting for close. I know I've been told it can take a very long time. I just thought I'd post my "non?" update for anyone wondering how long it takes to close a BK7 Asset case.
We paid $1100 to keep a truck and small motorcycle. Trustee appraised them and gave us the cost which we paid right away. As of last week, according to the IRS they have not received any $$ from the trustee (owe them a little more than the assets). IRS also said they may not be the first to get paid.
Nothing new filed on PACER since Oct. I know the discharge was the goal. I still can't start fresh until the close is filed since the trustee left my house "up in the air". So we just wait.
