My trustee is asking for documents, including copies of my title for my vehicles.
My question is should I send him my current title w/ a lien on it or should i wait, send in my current title to the DMV and wait for the new one to come back w/ out a lien holder?
Here are some details:
I had a bike i owned in cash, i cross collateralized it in a credit union ordeal (took out a loan, paid loan off, had to also pay off checking act balance). They sent me a letter saying they released the lien and i can send in my old title to get a new one w/o them listed.
The bike is claimed as exempt, however i want things to go as smooth as possible and im not sure what would be better to keep things moving smoothly
Edit: This all happened back on 08-02-12 however i never got around to getting the new title
