We had our 341 meeting on Dec 16 and surrendered our rental property. We received a notice from the city of a code violation. Apparently someone put out a couch and chair after the property was vacated and now the city wants us to remove it or face a fine. Since the property was surrended at the 341 meeting I don't think we own it anymore, is that right?

Probably not, but do you really want to take the time to fight it. How was it, and too whom was the property surrendered. That is the person you should be initially contacting about this. -
I will be surrendering property at my 341 meeting. How is this acutally done, do you give the trustee your keys? Do you notify the bank when the property is vacant?Edyta...
