QUESTION Regarding Conversion 7

Looked at pacer today and saw that my BK13 trustee was to my understanding "added back in" to the conversion case? it stated the following on pacer:

" M****** G***** Interested Party, added to case (clb) (Entered: 10/15/2012)"

If you have any outstanding balance in the Chapter 13, then the Chapter 7 Trustee "might" ask that those amounts be assets in the Chapter 7. In Florida, at least, that balance as of conversion date is not part of the Chapter 7 estate. I don't think it's anything more than the interaction between the Chapter 13 Standing Trustee and the Chapter 7 Panel Trustee.

I do have a balance of about 1k with her, that makes sense.

If you filed with an attorney, your attorney might file a Motion to Compel Turnover the balance of the Chapter 7 funds on hand if the Order Converting the case doesn't already include such a order. In my case, the Order Converting did include that order, to turnover the balance on hand, but it took me 3 months to get the money. I had to file a Motion to Compel Turnover to "poke" the Trustee in my particular case.
