VA Disability

I read somewhere that Social Security is not considered income. Does the same rules apply for Veterans Administration Disability payments? Thanks in advance for the information.

My husband's VA disability was counted as income for the means test.

It is MOST definitely income on the means test. sorry.

The ONLY exception is income derived from Social Security, which is SSI and SSDI.

VA disability is income.
