Chaper 7 and Loan Modification

Hello, I just received my modification agreement from BofA and Discharge Letter from the BK Court both at the same time. The modification agreement stated that they need bankruptcy court approval if I am in the bk proceeding. Since I got discharged the same time they sent the agreement, will they still need court approval? I dont see any sense of getting court approval if my chapter 7 filing is discharge. Please enlighten me.

After discharge you are no longer 'in' a bankruptcy process, so it shouldn't be necessary. After filing and before discharge, they have to be careful about talking with you to avoid violating the automatic stay.
