Schedule J expenses

I have another question regarding the expenses on schedule J. If you are keeping your home (no reaffirmation), does your underwater 2nd and 3rd mortgage monthly payments go on schedule J? We aren't paying them hoping at some point in the future to settle the debt. I assume they are, but I'm still checking.

I haven't seen my schedule I and J (will in a couple of weeks at the signing appointment) but I want to know ahead of time what to be looking out for. Thanks!

I think I've seen this argued both ways.

If you're keeping the home, you owe the 2nd and 3rd. So they go on the form. But if you haven't been paying - it could be argued the other way. Probably best to see how your attorney answers - since he/she will know the standards for your district & the trustees there.

I have the same problem. Not sure if to list second mortgage ( not paid in 10 months) on schedule J.
Also would I list it in means test?
Meeting 3 attys next week. Will ask them

Mt attorney got back to me and said they will put the 2nd and 3rd on the means test as well as schedule j...hopefully yours will too!
