    Thanks for the sound advice!

At first I thought he was being nice (duh) but I guess he was fishing. I was totally honest, and told him that I bought and sold from garage sales and thrift stores, mainly designer jeans, and that it was a lot of work. It helps to make a little extra cash, but I think they really want to see if you are a big time Ebayer making lots of money.

But he never asked to see statements or for passwords.

Thanks everyone and moonBeam: I was scared! I am one of those people who is paranoid of ID rip-off. I am already mad that I wnt down to the courthouse to get a copy of my home loan statement, the clerk just handed me the papers for a fee, but never asked for my ID!!!!! Guess anyone can BUY your info. I haven't looked over it yet, hope my SSN wasn't on it. The one thing I WILL get while all this is going on is a CREDIT MONITORING!! Yes I will print out my ballance and I will also print out the portion where it is against P/P policy to hand out Passwords! if they don't trust my printouts---why stop there---why don't they ask for my BANK ACCOUNT PASSWORD?---someone can hide a large transaction there as well a couple of months past- when you get the password- you can see it ALL, years and years ago! Yes It is a real strange request, especially now you are saying you are a small seller on Ebay and Trustee didn't want the password! Hey, My other Question was though as I take it, you do LIVE on the internet or you would not be here now, so I know occasional! ly you may buy your mom flowers or that niece a x-mas gift who lives far away---she said I must declaire ANYWHERE I have BOUGHT too, I understand EBay, OMG! cant even remember the rest! I received a X-Mas give via AMAZON last X-MAS and did a refund because it didn't fit so now I think I have $5.00 amazon bucks, I don't know. I'll cash it out and claim it. UGH!

Anything filed with the court is public record available to anybody who walks in and asks or who has a Pacer account. The fee you paid is not to buy information, it's to pay for photocopying. Court rules require that your SSN be redacted from all documents that are public record. If the copy of the account statement you received has your SSN, talk to your attorney about having the document expunged from the record and refiled with the SSN redacted.
