Just an update. We are going to turn in the truck we purchased last December as it is just too expensive. We traded my husband's S-10 extreme and he has regretted that ever since. He LOVED that truck. He "liked" the new Sierra. Well, we found a black S-10 extreme with extended cab this past weekend and bought it. It is in mint condition. He is a happy camper! Plus NO PAYMENTS!!!!
We are just waiting on Ally to contact us on when to turn in the truck. We also have our Jeep financed with them and I emailed our attorney if the Judge would deny the reaffirmation if we signed it. I do not want to reaffirm as we are upside down (depending upon which value I use about $3,000 - $5,000), rate about 9.9%. Positives on keeping it though are it is a great vehicle, we "know" it (per my husband) and it will be paid off in just under 3 years. My husband wants to keep it and sign. The only thing I am worried about is Ally may get po'd since we are turning truck in and if we don't reaffirm and just keep paying maybe they will take the Jeep too. We have not missed any payments or been late on either vehicle at this time, of course we won't pay September's truck payment if it is still here.
