Discharged & One of mycreditors decided to charge my debit card today!!!

For services we don't even subscribe to anymore. It was only $30 but SERIOUSLY, I'm mad!

      Classic.

It wouldn't happen to be a certain satellite radio company, would it? Shortly before we filed I was fiddling with the radio in the car and discovered that we suddenly had service again after canceling some 9 months before. Got an invoice in the mail. Did nothing and had service (and some letters threatening collections, etc) right up to the day after we filed. We included them in our filing so their ridiculous and bogus billing for a service we cancelled would not slip into collections.

Fast forward to March of this year. Just before a 3800 mile road trip I went to resubscribe for a month's service but was refused because I had "BK'd on their service." Whaaaat? I explained that I BKd a bogus bill they sent me after canceling service. I provided them with the cancellation notice I sent via their website and the email confirmation I received back. I sent them a copy of the bogus invoice clearly dated well after the cancellation confirmation. I challenged them to provide proof of my request for service that generated the bogus billing. Not surprisingly, they could not.

So I was able to get my one month's service. I cancelled after that month and received a cancellation confirmation. That was April 3rd. This is mid June and I still have service - but so far no invoice.

      Quite simply a brain-dead company.

I'd call the creditor and give them the opportunity to reverse the charge . If you have no luck, let your lawyer know.
