At this points my salary is under my states means test. My petition will probably go in two weeks. How long do I have to keep this crappy job?

All 6 months until fully discharged?

Or when can I safely accept a position with obviously a salary way over the means test guidelines?

I'd wait until at least after your 341. At the the 341, you'll be asked if anything has changed since you filed.
