1- If you have any outstanding disputes, or if you want to keep track of your credit score. Sign up for a service like truecredit that will allow you to view updates copies of your credit report. Check your reports once a week
3-Sign up for PACER. To keep the PACER costs down, check it onnce a week.
Personally, I check both on the same day [Wedsday]. That allows me to see the progress of my disputes, and keep the costs of PACER to a min.
