$500 inheritence before 180 days, can it be be part of a "personal exemption"?

I just got notice that I am to receive a $500 inheritance before the 180 days are up. Since it's such a small amount, can it be added to our "personal" exemption? Or is it automatically taken?

For that small an amount, I wouldn't even mention it.
Nobody is going to care about $500.

We did tell our attorney, as we didn't want to get introuble. Do you think the attorney will tell the trustee, do they have to now? And do you think when the trustee finds out, they won't care about $500? Aren't you allowed some cash? Also, if it does get taken, will my family find out, as we haven't told anyone about the BK

I hope, for everyone's sake, that the tt isn't so desperate for the little bit of cash to be gained from all of that paperwork ---to be bothered.
