Overtime after file ch 7 before 341

Will file next week ch 7. I may be getting overtime soon. It will be in a check after I file. I have had zero the last 3 of the 6 months look back. I think they say I might need latest paystub at 341. If overtime is on that one will it be questioned or an issue of any kind?

Your financial snapshot is the day you file. You won't have had the overtime yet. Are you hiring a lawyer, or will you be doing it yourself?

You have to to provide six months worth of pay stubs prior to our filing date, so that the trustee can see your income and outgo. We did not have to bring anything with us to our 341 other than our ss cards and DLs, and a copy of our marriage license--but that is a rarity.

You will be asked if anything has changed since you filed. Here you can mention the overtime--if you get it. Keep in mind, you may not get it. But I don't think overtime will be an issue. I believe that they are looking more for situations where you have gone to a different employer, or to school, etc.

My trustee asked for my pay stubs for the checks right after I filed - I had 6 hours of overtime on one for doing a special project and I just noted that's what it was for and it was an anomaly that wasn't expected to continue. He never even mentioned it in the 341.
