I'll discuss with the lawyer the specifics....

As for Chase, originally before my one credit union filed the suit against me, I was wanting to pay a bunch back to Chase before I filed.... and my filing would have been later on in the year, but I got served last week.... and my court date is March 6.

As for expenses, within the last 3 months, I've got fuel, car repair parts, and car repair services, school supplies like books (including a tablet - which is less than $400 on the tablet, though I have it back on eBay to resell it), I also have food on it (not just groceries, but because I'm at school a lot I eat at the cafeteria, and when I'm at work or on the road I eat fast food often). I also have a small cash advance for $165 on the Chase, a car insurance payment, car registration, and car tax.

Anyways, I'm starting to get some changes going with the food, but the above, is what I have. Thus I'm afraid of Chase.

I don't see Chase wasting their time with a dischargeability complaint. This does not mean that they won't send your attorney a letter threatening one. Unless, this is getting int he $2,000+ dollar range. However, only the tablet appears to be a "luxury" item.
