Patience, my friend, I know it's very hard (I'm still waiting too).......
Just think, it's almost all over but the shouting and getting on with a new life and a new beginning................
The feeling is overwhelming to sit there and think "I'm actually debt free"........... I don't owe anyone (at least except maybe on your home or auto).......
My case is still open, and I'm back to "owing for my home" but I'm debt free other than that and it a GREAT FEELING..................... such a relief.......
I buy gas on my cc and keep it revolving each month to improve my credit, but other than that I'm cash in hand................

I talked again with the lady who handles all of the closing/discharging of cases for my particular Judge and she said that all she is waiting for is for the UST to make a note that all of the documentation was received and all is well.. However, as I said yesterday, it fell through the cracks and apparently is just sitting on someones desk (UST). My attorney has both called and emailed him as well. Hopefully this will be over with soon. So much stress is so little time..Thanks,

Great News To Report
I am still waiting but tomorrow will be the magic day..
I called again and spoke to my contact at the US Bakruptcy Court and she was quite frustrated at the lag time of the US Trustee and told me that I should call them myself to see what was going on. Well, I DID!!
I called the US Trustee's Office and was able to speak directly with the person I needed to speak with, The US Trustee himself. He asked me for my information and apologized for the delay and said it would be taken care of immediately.
I got home this afternoon and took a look at PACER and found this:
The lady at the Bankruptcy Court told me this morning that this is all she would need and once she saw it, she would discharge and close the case. She did asked me to call her tomorrow once I saw this on the docket report. I will be on the phone with her at 8AM.. LOL
What a nice way to start five wonderful days off of work
I actually sat here tonight and burst out into tears. Was it happiness, sadness, relief or something else? Who the hell knows or even cares at this point. This has been one of the most stressfull periods that I have ever went through but I will tell you that I do not regret one day of it nor do I regret my decision to file. I had a great attorney and a wonderful group of friends to answer my silly questions and educate me in the process. All in all, you all made it so much more bearable and for that I want to say THANK YOU from the very bottom of my heart.
Tomorrow, you will see me posting about my DISCHARGE !!!!
