Question about 30 day limit for trustee to challenge exemptions

    Before my 341 started, my trustee made an announcement to everyone in the room:

    Unless I state otherwise, it is my intention to abandon all assets.
    So I left there knowing she wasn't taking anything from me because she would've told me that she was planning to.

        we are in the middle district and it was not automatic.

          I believe that tobee is correct. The close is done manually by the Clerk's office. I don't think they'll close a case in that District without the paperwork.
