Question about 30 day limit for trustee to challenge exemptions

Before my 341 started, my trustee made an announcement to everyone in the room:

Unless I state otherwise, it is my intention to abandon all assets.

So I left there knowing she wasn't taking anything from me because she would've told me that she was planning to.

Usually, they won't close the case without the report. However, some Districts (in Florida) do "automatic" closing once the discharge is issued. Hang in there!

we are in the middle district and it was not automatic.

I believe that tobee is correct. The close is done manually by the Clerk's office. I don't think they'll close a case in that District without the paperwork.
