Filed 5/31/11 341 & Report of No Distribution 7/28/11Discharged & Closed!! 9/29/11 "What I won't accept or buy any longer is that my credit score defines who I am. Screw that."
Although I had only 6 posts I learned alot from the good folks on this site and I am forever grateful for that. I guess I have been more of a lurker than and active poster but I am happy to help anyone out who is in the middle of thier bk if I can. I am just so happy it's over now and I can get on with my life. Now comes the fun part, re-establishing credit. My wife and I have already recieved a few cc offers but we must take our time and choose carefully.
Yep! I thought that was kind of premature but I have been doing some online research about re-establishing credit and I have learned that most cc offers in the early going are more costly than helpful. We really have to do our homework before we jump on and offer.
What type of offers and who they are from depends a great deal on which card companies you BK'd, too. Feel free to ask on here - I am sure all of us have stories to go with every company!!

Ok, lets start with Capital One. They offered us a pre approved cc with a credit line up to 3k.
