Copies of canceled checks?

Was anyone asked by the trustee to provide copies of canceled checks, in addition to bank statements?

No, just up to the filing date and 6 mos prior.

Asking for cancelled checks, very unlikely?

Has the trustee already asked for them? In any event, since it usually costs money, what you tell the trustee is, we will cooperate in any way we can to assist in getting those checks, sign whatever authorization, but if you want them, you pay for them or subpoena them.

After looking at it again, it is a form letter that bundles together bank statements and canceled checks for all accounts, and that box is checked off.

My attorney has mentioned "bank statements" numerous times but never mentioned canceled checks. I assume they might exist on the form letter, but not needed for the actual filing.

I thought I'd at least check in the Forum though, iin case others have been asked for canceled checks. thanks
