I know discharge is everything and closing is just paperwork, but it's nerve-wracking to wait. Here's the timeline: filed CH 7 on 9/2010, discharged 1/2011. We were an asset case (2 cars owned, no loans). We bought back one car, other was sold at auction in January. Deadline for creditors to file against assets was 3/2011. Unsecured debt was small, only 3 creditors. Trustee paid creditors and himself in early June 2011 and we even got some money back, in June also, as car values exceeded unsecured debt owed. All that has happened on Pacer since is Trustee's Interim Report. "The trustee has submitted to the Office of the United States Trustee an interim report for the period ending 06/30/11. The interim report provides information concerning asset administration and an accounting of the financial activity in the case. The trustee will provide a copy of the interim report to a party in interest upon request."
Is this a normal time frame? Our attorney hasn’t responded to my inquiry. Guess the money meter ran out. Should I contact someone at the Court or just keep waiting?
