Meet with my attorney this afternoon and signed the paperwork. He will file my Chapter 7 today (Saturday).

Above median income but after Means Test end up with negative $700 disposable income. Now the waiting begins, should know Monday when my 341 Hearing will be.

Congrats! Hopefully it's smooth sailing for you from this point forward. Our CH7 wasn't painful at all...we sweated a lot of things we shouldn't have, but the crew here on this forum eased our fears.

341 meeting is schedules for December 19th, 52 days after filing, thought 20-40 days was the procedure but guess they are booked out that far.

Oh wow, 52 days?!?! Our was 35 after filing. I thought Florida was backed up but WOW!

In the northern district of Ohio which is divided into 5 courts, Toledo, Cleveland, Akron, Canton & Youngstown. I am in the Akron Court, I think they don;t have as many people as Cleveland so things take longer. My Attorney who files in both Cleveland and Akron said Cleveland is around 30 days.

Filed Chapter 7 (Above Median Income) and hoping they don't force me into Chapter 13. Means Test shows Disposable Income, but if I were to Files 13 they wold allow 401K Contributions and Loan Repayment that put me negative. In addition my transportation expenses are much higher than the allowed $226/month. I drive over 20,000 miles per year, mostly to and from work so may fuel expenses alone are $300/month. Add on Insurance and Maintainance and over $400/month
