Attorney Fees after 341

This is exactly why I did not pick the 1st attorney I saw as he would not state a 'fixed' rate and the contract was so vague, basically saying price 'depended on circumstances'. The one I finally chose put in writing that the charges were fixed and even though I contacted his office months after the 341 to ask about the foreclosure, there was never another charge.
My case was simple, but he and his staff were wonderful in responding to my questions and emails with no further charge.
I realize this is not helpful for you at this point, but it may help newbies who are reading the posts.

My attorney charged me mileage for traveling to the 341, as we are roughly an hour from his office. I asked him that before I paid him though, so I knew it going in. I've only had one contact with his office since the 341, and that was initiated by them, as the trustee asked for some forms to be changed a bit (splitting hairs, basically) and amended. I had no charge from that for anything, even the filing was a no charge I assume b/c it was at the trustee's request.
My sister and I used the same attorney and our 341s were the same day, so we were hoping we'd split the travel fee LOL. But the attorney said that he was going back to the office between ours, to do some work. Mine was at 9:30, hers at 3:30, so it's possible I suppose that he did. But it would have been nice if he could've sat at Starbucks and worked and saved us each about $35 ;-)Filed 5/31/11 341 & Report of No Distribution 7/28/11 Discharged & Closed!! 9/29/11
