Can I file the Debtor Education 'Post Bbankruptcy' myself?

My attorney is lazy and I'm getting frustrated. I attended my 341 meeting a few weeks ago.

If I can file it myself, do I need to bring my ID or anything to courthouse? Thanks in advance.

You do not need to bring ID. However, you need to file an Official Form 23 -- Debtor's Certification of Completion of Instructional Course Concerning Financial Management (12/10) along with a copy of the certificate. It's sad to read that your attorney is disinterested in filing this form.

Remember to read the form thoroughly and if you filed with your spouse, you must file ONE form for each of you (two total forms filed). Make sure you check the correct box as well.

    Best of luck to you.

Oh, if you are entering a Federal Courthouse, you may need ID and need to pass through a metal detector. Additionally, computers, cameras and maybe even cellular phones may be prohibited beyond the security checkpoint. Call the Clerk's office before visiting.

          Thanks JustBroke.

I filed today and also she endorsed a copy for me.

It's funny because I still haven't received a reply from my attorney regarding the matter. But I did inform her that I filed the paperwork today.
