Hello again! I hope I am not repeating, but now that the case is filed, I am filling out a questionnaire for the trustee. Is this a common thing? I am also concerned about my property taxes. My bill states the cash value as far more than what it would be appraised. Do you think this would send up a red flag? I know my attorney will have an answer, but of course, it is Friday and I don't think I can wait all weekend for some sort of insight. Thanks all for the support...(and a laugh once in a while too!)

Some Trustees do have questionnaires especially for pro se filers. Typically the questionnaire, at least the one I received, had to do with "who helped you complete your petition?". They are trying to find rogue petition preparers who are either practicing law and/or overcharging.

Many Trustees ask for this type of info. Be thorough, be to-the-point, and be on time. Keep copies of what the Trustee asks for and bring them to your 341 in a binder, just in case.
Some additional advice - if you have something to explain, don't try to explain it in your questionaire, but have the evidence you need to back up your explanation ready to go at your 341. If the Trustee has questions, he/she will ask...no need to do their homework for them, as it could have unintended consequences.
Same advice on the home value. If the Trustee has a question, they will ask. You can provide your explanation at the 341 or afterwards if they need one.
