Well guys, for those who have followed my soap opera, (wife is in Ch 13) went to atty appt today...deep breath - he...made Ch 7 work - "thanks" to the ungodly sums owed to IRS...
Signing "ceremony" is on Sept 28th - they'll file on the 29th or 30th - what's cool is that total fee was $300 less than what I had thought! :-)
Wow...now I'll start answering the phone, as I have to get funky creditors to Paralegal (addresses) plus the few payday loans (yes I know I'm an idiot. Never again....desperate times...)
I'm above median for my state (not above median - haha - for the metro area though - the rest of the state is dirt poor) - anyway...spouse has LOTS of medical stuff...at any rate I am convinced that UST will file "presumption of abuse." Oh well. :-)
Also two preferential payments to unsecured creditors - yes one is payday loan, other (literally by accident) stupid credit union.
So that's it. I'll post stuff as it happens, hopefully it'll be useful for someone else too!!!!!!!
