    Chapter 7 bank statements

When submitting our bank statements will the trustee go over them, and question how much we spent on food, or if we went out to dinner, or whatever is on them, there is no huge purchases, no transfers, deposits etc... I just want to see what they are going to question.

Seems it's different for each person. For myself, per my attorney, trustee never even requested one bank statement.....amazing. Really, if you have no large purchases, you have nothing to worry about, they won't question regular living expenses. Now a 2000.00 purchase .........might raise some eyebrows.

I don't think my Trustee looked at my bank statments either, he only requested tax returns....but we had it all ready just in case

Mine was different as I took money out of the bank but declared it as monies at home on the forms. The trustee did not have any questions or problems with any of it as I declared everything. I also kept all my receipts for the time period. Filled 2 bags when I was finally able to shred them. What a relief that was!
