Notice of Requirement to File a Certification of Completion of Course (Form 23)
Hi everyone, I completed the Post-Bankruptcy - Debt Education Course two weeks ago, so do I need to fill out Form 23 (Form B23) and give it to my attorney.
In our case, the Certificate of Completion was sent directly to our attorney once we had finished. We didn't have to do a thing. <<<<Notoriously rare, because our attorney was very incompetent.>>>> We completed the Post-filing course online.
Also, we did the Pre-filing course with a live person as our Counselor--and I strongly recommend that--and once we were finished, the Counselor faxed our certificates to the attorney right then and there.
Good luck to you!
BTW, welcome to the Forum. My manners went hiding this evening, please excuse them.

Bring copies of your course completion to your 341 meeting. Should there be any problem, a great answer to have is "I have a copy of that right here."
Hey, attorneys make mistakes sometimes...they are human. Well, they are humans without a heart or soul sometimes, but they still qualify in the strictest interpretation.

Our attorney filed our 'Post Filing Courses' just prior to our 341, but made the mistake of entering my wife's as a 'Pre Filing' course, which she already had done. I caught it on Pacer after our 341 meeting. The Trustee allowed our attorney to correct it since his mistake was so obvious.
