High Estimates of Credit Card Balances?

When filling out the paperwork, should I put down the balances on my credit card accounts as of my last statement or should I add money to the balances in case more interest and fees accrue? I am worried that my entire balances won't be discharged if more interest has accrued since the balances have last reported to the credit bureaus.

I was told by my Atty that the balance isn't all that important. Once the creditor is notified and the bk is discharged the entire amount due them is discharged. It is more important to have their address correct on the petition so that they can be notified of your petition.

      Dear curious George
According to BK Rule 213%34 subsection 9, paragraph 12. "all debts must be declared within $1.00, or Trustee will dismiss the case"

In fact, in another section I read that if you don't have clean underwear on for the 341 meeting the Trustee can refuse to allow the meeting to continue. I was lucky, see I normally change mine once a week on Wednesday morning, my 341 was Thursday, so they were less just a tad past 24 hours old. Now the lady in front of me, she had to go down to Wal-mart and get a new pair, her's were going on 48 hours, heavily soiled, although she might have soiled those watching other debitor's being examined. Let me know if I can help anymore.

      Thanks

Now see, that's under the OLD rules. The new rules state that you have to add all of your debts together, subtract your income, add in the GDP of Spain, subtract the US trade deficit, multiply by the square root of -1 and then compare that total to the answer that the person ahead of you in line at the 341 hearing. If the numbers don't match, you get dismissed and the person behind you gets to give you a wedgie.

The underwear rule was also changed this year because they decided that if you could afford underwear then you obviously weren't desperate enough and your case is immediately dismissed. You also get charged court costs which they allow you to pay in payments at 35% interest.
          Filed Ch. 7 Pro-Se: 10/12/06
          341: 11/6/06 (went AMAZINGLY well!)
          Discharge: 1/12/07
          Closed:1/19/07
