    Reporting derogatory during automatic stay?

    Hello,

    I just checked my credit report and two companies reported debts included in my chapter 7 as delinquent. Is an automatic stay suppose to prevent this, or can they do this?

    They should not report you delinquent in months after you file BK. If they reported you as deliquent before you filed, those notations would remain.

    If they reported you as deliquent after you filed, you should dispute those items.

      What do you mean by delinquent? What exactly are they marking?

          Dispute them and for the reason put "Included in bankruptcy"
