Filling out the chapter 7 forms for the above listed expenses checked what the IRA suggested and we don't even come close. I took what we spent on medical expenses over the past year and divided it by 12 and came up with a monthly amount, $500 over their monthly figure. Our vehicle's are old and paid for so we pay to keep them going, did the same calculations with what we have spent over the past year, $400 over IRS suggested up keep. We know we need a new vehicle but can't qualify right now for financing. Do you think the trustee will question our figures, do have receipts or tell us it is not acceptable to pay out this much each month?

I apologize. I didn't know mean over-the-median age, but over-the-median income. If your attorney thinks it's okay, then you are probably under-the-median. Additionally, since you are seniors... it is perfectly reasonable to have higher than average medical costs. Given the information that I now have... I can tell you to relax, sit back, and let your attorney deal with your case. You should be able to get a discharge without any questions.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
