How do I get a default judgement vacated? Is it after discharge?

Just wondering how I should go about this. I have a default judgement from Amex I believe. Do I have to wait until I am discharged to get that vacated? It's something I can do myself, correct?
    Filed 5/31/11 341 & Report of No Distribution 7/28/11 Discharged & Closed!! 9/29/11

it has to be filed after you are discharged and closed. you can file it yourself, if you go to the court it's a motion to vacate, most court clerks are pretty good when it comes to helping you with the general info.

it will save you $$ if you file the motion yourself, many do successfully.

here's a link to a form for oregon, but i would check with the court clerk to make certain it's acceptable:

    best of luck!!
