When can I expect a Reaff to be signed?

Ok, so Im getting close to the end here. Im expecting discharge sometime next week.

I have one reaffirmation in my case for one of my cars. I have signed it, brought payments current, and my attorney has signed and filed it.

IF the BK judge is going to sign and approve it (my understanding is they often wont in an effort to "protect" the debtor.), when can I expect that to occur? Will my case remain "open" until that is either signed or rejected? Will I be notified (via PACER or otherwise) if it is NOT approved by the judge?

Its not a big deal to me either way if the judge approves or not, since the bank has indicated they will let me do a ride through as long as current. But of course I want the case to close ASAP, and need to know for future reference if Im liable for the reaffed loan or not.

One other question (hypothetical) - IF the judge does NOT approve the reaff, I understand that I am not liable for anything. BUT, does a REPO show up on credit as a seperate transaction if at a later date I turn car in? I know a mortgage FORECLOSURE does show up seperately on your credit report (with a later date) even if not reaffirmed?

    Thanks!
