Waiting for discharge from C7 and Mortgage company sending emails payments are due...
I thought during a C7 they were not allowed to send you bills? we filed in April waiting for discharge have about 1 wk still crossing fingers. I just received an email that my mortgage poayment is due 8/1/11 is that something that can be done?

I believe if you look closely, you will find langauage that says something like "this is for information purposes only" especially if you did not reaffirm. My online statements have been coming since I filed but they do contain such a statement. I did not reaffirm but they continue to let me pay online.Filed CH 7 4/15/11

If you reaffirmed, that's another matter, they can send you a bill but I believe that's only if they had the automatic stay lifted. Of course, I am still a learner here and could be wrong. If so, sure some experts will enlighten us!Filed CH 7 4/15/11
