So not to long ago, I got curious and pulled my credit report. (Post Filing-Pre-Discharge)...I was basically just checking to see if the right accounts were listed as IIB and to peek through my fingers at my score....
Well, I used the online service through Experian and Transunion. There were two accounts not listed as IIB...the car and a LOC...so I clicked the dispute button for both accounts and listed the reason as IIB....
Anyway...both Experian and Transunion responded with updates. Both of those accounts have been DELETED from my credit report...not listed in the slightest bit...
So, the question is...do you think this is GOOD or BAD? I know less negative accounts on my report but to completely delete...I didnt think that would happen.
If it helps...the accounts were reporting as "Past Due"...the car 30 days and the LOC way more than that...
As a sidebar: The online dispute service through Experian and Transunion was easy as pie to use. I got constant emails saying they were working on my disputes, got the update that the dispute was resolved and was able to log in and view everything instantly.
