    Missing paystubs

Our attorney has requested 6 months pay stubs. My husband was terminated Dec 1, 2010, and received severance through April 1, 2011. For some reason, I don't have January pay stubs, but do have them from February forward. Will this suffice?

It most likely will, but your hub needs to go to the HR person at his former employer and request a 6 month print out of his pay statements starting with the date of his termination backwards.

Get that statement and then all of your bases will covered, so to speak.

Edited to add: I re-read your question, and if it were me, I would go to both the agency administering the severance package, AND the HRS people at the place of employment for those records.

In my case, I had Unemployment Compensation for several months before we filed. That agency would NOT provide itemized statements no matter what I did. The attorney and ultimately the BK court had to be satisfied with yellow high-lighted items on our monthly bank statements as to what I got.

    Good wishes to you both!

When are you filing? You'll need the stubs in order to file this month but if you wait until August 1st it shouldn't be an issue.
