I have a quick question, is it a bad idea to accept a high paying job compared to what I was making pre bk 1000/month to 3000/month right after 341 meeting? Can creditors come after my wages, and if so is this very likely. Thanks to all.

Job right after 341 meeting

From what I have read, if you knew about the job and just waited it out until the 341, if the UST finds out about it you could have a problem. With a 2k raise per month, your schedules I & J's would look different and could subject you to a trip to 13 land if you are discovered. Now if the offer honestly came in after the 341 and you accepted I think you are ok. Key here is what did you know and when did you know it. Good luck.

The trustee may ask you during the 341 if your employment changed since you filed, which it sounds like it will not. Technically, you don’t have employment until you actually start working. I would not turn down a better job if the opportunity arose, but just tell the truth to the trustee and you will be fine. I would also talk to your attorney about this issue as well.
Just to help you prepare for your meeting, during our 341 that question was always asked of the people who were unemployed, and one person responded she did receive a job. The Trustee congratulated her, asked her how much she would be making, of which she responded she did not know because she just started a week prior and had not received a paycheck. He accepted that answer and moved on.

To add to angles' post, the trustee likely will ask you if anything has changed since you filed? Technically it hasn't because you haven't started the new job yet, so that answer would be "no". If you are asked about any prospective employment, then you will have to say "yes". Do not volunteer any information unless asked. But do be honest in your paperwork and your answers.
Good luck to you and best wishes with the new job."To go bravely forward is to invite a miracle."
