    Paperwork questions

    Hi!
Trying to get all my paperwork to the Atty by Monday and I had a couple of questions:

Are online credit card statements good enough to go with Schedule F?

What do I put for 'when incurred' when it's been years!

Do balance transfers have to be recorded as such?

What do I check for conditions: Contingent, disputed, has set-off or unliquidated?

And what do I put for reason for claim?

    Thank you!

When incurred,............ Most attnys use the date the line of credit was opened as when incurred. You can get copies of your Credit Reports for free at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp

Your Credit Reports will have the dates each acct was opened for you.

Large cash advances, convenience checks, and probably balance transfers made within the last year may need to be explained. The look back period is 1 year. CC companies definitely look at the most recent 6 months of account activity. The longer you go after quitting using your CC's the better.

Whether your attny will accept online printouts or needs originals is up to them. We had originals for our attny. We're so far behind, I can't access any of our accts online anyway. The websites won't let me get in without promising to pay money.

I don't understand about the "Reason for claim" and "Conditions" questions. We never answered anything like that in all the different packets we got from different attnys.

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.

Regarding those 'older' accounts...my attorney simply listed them as "2005 and before" and we had no problems with that.
