    Can you include judgements in your chapter 7?

    No liens-they are medical bills and an old repo.

    Yes you can and yes you must. You list all debts in your chapter 7.

      i agree with frogger, however, remember, if they are already judgements you must file an order to vacate the after your case is discharged and closed. otherwise they will in fact sit there. best of luck!

        Sure a judgment is just a debt that has gone through the court system and been "proved" to exist.
        As tobee said you can get it vacated after your case closes, or you can ignore it until it expires, either way it is uncollectable.
        If you go to buy/sell a house you'll probably need to take care of it.
        Then there's the credit report angle, I'm not sure how best to play that.
        If it's old I'd just let it age off.
        filed chapter 13..confirmed...converted to chapter 7...DISCHARGED!
